When animals are taken in by TDHS, they are given a safe, clean place to sleep; they are also given food and medical attention if needed. For some, this may be the first time in their lives that a human has given them care and compassion. It’s heartwarming to see a nervous dog or a timid cat come out of his or her shell in response to kindness.

Do you believe in helping local animals in need? Becoming a monthly supporter is the best way to help abused and homeless animals 365 days a year. Contributing monthly is quick and convenient to set up, and you can change or cancel your monthly support at any time. This is an opportunity to feel good knowing that you’re making a significant impact on the lives of many innocent animals.

Your monthly gift will help in these ways:

$20 provides food for a small animal
$30 provides essential vaccines for a dog or cat
$50 provides a feline neuter
$75 provides a canine neuter or feline spay
$100 provides a canine spay

Q: Once I’ve made an online gift, how can I make changes to my account (i.e. change amount, change my credit card number)?

A: It’s so easy! Please just call (705) 264-1816. If we receive your change prior to the month’s processing deadline we can make the change effective for that month.

If not, it’ll take effect the next month.

Q: What if I need to stop giving. Can I stop whenever I want?

A: Of course! Just call (705) 264-1816. Your cancellation will take place the same month, or the following month, depending upon when we receive your call.

Q: Will I receive verification of my donations for tax purposes?

A: All monthly donors receive an annual statement reflecting the prior year’s total contributions. This statement is usually mailed in February.

Q: When will my credit card first be charged?

A: Monthly charges occur once per month. Your first online gift will be charged to your card on the date that your transaction is made.
