The Animal Protection Call Centre is a designated call centre for Ontarians to report animal welfare concerns.
Anyone with a concern about the welfare of an animal should call the Animal Protection Call Centre toll-free line at 1-833-9ANIMAL (1-833-926-4625). The call centre will then route the call to a provincial inspector, who will enforce animal welfare laws across Ontario, effective Jan. 1, 2020.
All calls related to municipal bylaws should continue to be directed to the respective local animal control. All emergency calls should be directed to 9-1-1.
